The Logistics Agreements Office facilitates Host Nation Support for U.S. Forces operating in or passing through Norwegian air, land or waterways during contingencies, exercises or war. He also coordinates Mutual Support Agreements between USEUCOM and the Government of Norway and serves as the principal Liaison Officer between USEUCOM and all Norwegian Defense Military Staffs. Additionally, the Norway LAO maintains all Small Unit Training Exchange and non-FMS related training program agreements between U.S. and Norwegian Forces.

Defense Cooperation in Armaments

The Defense Cooperative Armaments officer serves as the in-country liaison between DOD acquisition agencies, the U.S. Defense industry, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense and associated Norwegian acquisition agencies. The goal is to foster cooperation in the development of weapon systems by assisting U.S. firms in gaining access to the Norwegian defense market. The DCA participates in bi-lateral cooperative armaments and assists U.S. firms in gaining access to the Norwegian defense market.

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assitant manages the flow of correspondence, maintains publications, and handles Personnel actions for the entire ODC staff.

FMS Training Office

The Training Office handles all training purchased by the Norwegian military via Foreign Military Sales. This includes Professional Military Education, pilot training, management training, and technical courses. The Training Office also administers personnel exchange programs between the U.S. and Norway.

Budget Analyst

The Budget Analyst controls the ODC budget comprised of three separate funding sources. All ODC expenditures are worked through this office, including those related to ODC’s participation in the State Department International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) program.
